"The hotel was decent but the reception wasn’t open 24 hours so if you’re arriving late (around 11pm or so), you’ll always have to knock and wake up whoever is in there. There was one night that I almost didn’t get into the hotel because no one was at the reception and the main door was locked. Luckily, a woman who was also staying there arrived and called his boyfriend and unlocked the door for us from the inside. There was also a small spark or kind of a little explosion in one of the sockets...

"This is a lovely property and large old stone house. The family that runs it is very accommodating and kind. The room was small but clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. A comprehensive breakfast was included as was use of the fridge in the kitchen. It is a bit of a drive to reach the property but easy to follow on a nav system. The WIFI didn’t work and we had to ask to have the heating enabled but still very much worth the stay. "

"This place is a combination of a hostel and a hotel. Can’t rate the hostel even though I am sure that it is good. But the hotel - two penthouse suites - is a marvelous place. "This is a lovely rural property that provided us the retreat that we needed. We had the “Moucho” room which had a nice balcony and skylight over the bed. We had great meals in their restaurant and the pool area looked very inviting but the rainy day prevented us from using it.
