"There was a serious problem the first night. The heat was on until we got someone to come up and turn it off. We were on the 3rd floor, so when I opened the window, we got cool air and less street noise... Which abated@ 11pm."

"I was actually pleasantly surprised by how good this was! We had gotten this is on a deal, and I expected it to be a bare-bones hotel. Instead it was quite an aesthetically pleasing place with moderately sized rooms, a full bath, a nice breakfast room, and a comfortable bed. The location is awesome - right near the Plaza Mayor in Salamanca. We are glad we went to the San Polo."

"The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. The price was decent, but you definitely get what you pay for. Many hairs were found in the bedding. Also, upon getting in the shower and closing the door, you can see that the bottom of the shower door in the corner is covered in black mold. Had we not arrived in Salamanca so late at night, we would have packed up and left for another hotel."
