"Hotel itself is charming and historic. Hotel staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect. Steps away from Pisa centrale train station, 20 min walk to leaning tower of Pisa and everything else we wanted to see. The rooms themselves were small, the bathroom walls could have used a decent wipe down, but the bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. The A/C worked well but was loud. The BEST part of this hotel was the INCREDIBLE breakfast spread. I don’t think we have...

"Everything was great, enjoy our stay in this historical inn. Room was comfortable and met needs and expectations with reasonable pricing. Recommended. "

"Close to train station, one mile to tower. Close to main shopping and good restaurants close by. Only thing we didn't like was the shower doors were tight, similar to an RV. Otherwise a good stay. Would suggest you have you own bathroom and get A/C, otherwise the city sounds may bother some. "

"It was very comfortable! Yes, it is dated but charming. Cleanliness can be improved -- mostly in the bathroom, e.g., back of shower door etc. But it was a comfortable stay despite the climb to the first floor, which the lift doesn't reach. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was also good, served by an attentive, thoughtful lady. Location is of course excellent. Would stay again."

"Hotel Rex's staff are friendly and helpful. There is construction right out front so the view wasnt great but they didn't start working til 9ish so it was not disruptive. Location is close to entrance to Lucca and they are working on making it more pedestrian friendly. "

"This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! Staff we very helpful and welcoming!"
