"We loved our stay at hotel dei Capitani, would highly recommend. Montalcino is famous for truffles, wild boar, wine, and beautiful views, especially from this hotel. It is on top of a mountain and in the country so you can expect to see bugs in your room like spiders, mosquitos, stink bugs, but they are mostly all harmless and more of a nuisance than anything. "This property was amazing. The staff was so incredibly professional, nice, helpful and friendly. I can’t say enough of how nice they were. The views from this property were amazing rolling Hills of Tuscany and the weather was rainy so I just could imagine how beautiful it would’ve been with the sunshine. Also family suite worked well with a twin room for them and a king for us! Very clean and pretty with lovely staff"
