"I booked what I thought was a family room- we got a room with two bunk beds so I ended up sleeping on one of the top bunks as my youngest child is too young for that. Not a real problem for one night but the smell of methane coming from the bathroom was a real hazard. Even with the bathroom door shut and an open window, the children woke up with feeling dizzy and we couldn't wait to get out. "Had to change plans at the last minute due to a traffic diversion and booked this late after and arrived at the premises in the dark. Staff were accommodating and couldn’t have been more helpful. Good food and a great location. Would love to come back and explore the area some more. A nice remote and quiet location in a lovely village up a dead end valley."
