"We have stayed 4x here and it is very convenient to main road, dog friendly, easy parking. First experience good with tapas/ bar/ dinner. 2nd just had tapas in bar. 3rd - restaurant closed but dinner served in bar, post covid seemed staffing problems, very slow service. "The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. The simple breakfast for 3.5 euros was ideal to get us going. The only problem was that we stayed on a Monday which meant that there were no restaurants open and we had to drive 5km down the road. We didn’t get to see Simancas. There is some road noise but it did not disturb our sleep.We will probably stay again if we have the same ferry timings."

"Very convenient stopover - just off the main road south to Madrid. The rooms are very adequate and the cafeteria serves nice snack foods. There is a restaurant which opens at 21.00 hrs which was too late for us. Would happily stay again. If you need some exercise after your arrival - walk to the very well preserved castle nearby."
