"The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."

"A great hotel run by superb staff. Super friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again. A spacious area for parking is directly in front of the building with easy access to reception. It’s very dog friendly - some hotel’s accommodate dogs but are barely tolerant this isn’t one of them. There are tracks to walk from the door in beautiful countryside. "We stayed three very comfortable nights. Breakfast in the room was offered but we chose not to use this service. The reception clerks were great; on arrival, on departure, and at all times in between. If we ever return to Poitiers we would hope to stay at Hotel Central. The only negative thing was the three idiots in the street shouting to each other at 3:00 AM, all three nights."

"Impressed with my stay overnight 3 years ago. Rebooked on that basis. So after a 500 mile car journey and looking forward to a nice drink in the lounge bar and meal in one of the two restaurants advertised on Hotel.com booking confirmation were extremely dissatistied to find neither open. Compounded by a surly desk clerk suggesting we get back in the car and find somewhere in Poitier. Had to demand hot water to make tea, and double room for 2 was only made up for one. Dont forget the church...
