But the staff member wasn't very nice when we arrived early to see if we could check in with our family, no problem, plenty of shops and jet centre near by. So they phoned me at 3.15 to say it was ready. Very laid back at breakfast time, i was needing soya milk and had to go looking for someone as no one was about. Check out at 11, no one at counter, rang bell, then went and left our bags in the car, came back to see if...

"Firstly, staff here are fantastic! So helpful and nothing is any bother. The hotel itself is nice, there's a decent size car park and it's easy to find. The food and the Guinness is pretty good too. My 3 grumbles: my £125 room was pretty small, the bed wasn't very comfortable and the shower was woeful. I'd stay again if in the area but wouldn't look forward to it."

There is a side stair and door so you dont have to go through the pub if you dont want. staff all very kind and helpful, showing us the laundry to use in the communal area. surprisingly good soundproofing even if live late night weekend music downstairs. twin mattresses a bit stiff, but not problematic for sleeping. the small kitchenette good for storing/heating leftovers and a drink."
