"This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. "Wonderful stay for 4 nights. Room was spacious and very clean with comfortable bed , plenty of Storage and a fridge . Fresh towels every day . Staff very friendly. No dining or bar facility open after lunch time. A short walk to boat to Lucerne or tram to Rigi. "

"Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that.
