"This is a very nice beach front hotel. Popular place since 70s. Close to the city center with bus/train stations, banks/ATMs. Turtle beach also very close, we can feed the friendly sea turtles and take photos. Kids friendly beach area. This hotel has swimming pools. One for the kids also. Good breakfast and dinner buffet with international food items, some local items also daily. Good A/C, Hot water, comfy beds. "We were greeted with a cold hand towel and a juice - lovely. Easy check in. Room was huge and very clean. We had no hot water but when we told them about this they quickly fixed the problem. The swimming pool was pristine. The only problem with the pool is that it was quite exposed - no screen from the driveway. We got our laundry done - reasonable price by the kilo and fast return. The communication before arrival was good but the reception staff looked very worried if we asked for anything....

"Nice place to stay. Comfortable clean rooms. I thought for this price they may make the beds. I also asked for a special request that the said they could do, but they didnt end up doing it... It was flowers on the bed for my girlfriends birthday. Then we asked if we could have one more breakfast as we were still hungry as compensation for not having power for the day and then they said no, which wasnt a big deal. Just thought they may do that. The serving staff were very nice."

"The staff and the property were absolutely amazing! The facilities are gorgeous and everyone was very helpful. It’s only a 2-3 minute walk to the lighthouse and its steps away from the Fort. The breakfast included delicious fresh fruits a local Sri Lankan dishes. They also helped book us a tuk tuk to get to Weligama Bay. 10/10 would definitely stay again. "

"Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners."

"We enjoyed staying two nights at Sun N Sea in early April. We enjoyed both the view of the beach/ ocean as well as the food. We were able to walk along the beach and into town easily. The manger helped us find a store which sells a computer charger. We had accidentally left ours at home. The beds were very comfortable and we all enjoyed surfing lessons."
