"Ever check in to a place and say, "Oh well, it's only for a few nights?" RIght across from the train station. ALL NIGHT LONG the trains blow their horns - they don't do that during the day, but ALL NIGHT LONG they do. I stayed 4 nights. Did not (could not) sleep the 1st or 4th night. "Rooms smelled like smoke, bathroom was not clean - one of our rooms had a broken faucet and leaky toilet. Checking in was weird, staff didn't give me a key or tell me the room number just the floor and when I got there another staff told a local man what room, no wifi code etc. Later on I went back to the front desk the staff was helpful though. But since there was a holiday the restaurant incl. room service was unavailable with little eating options nearby."

It was located out of the centre a bit but only about 5 minutes from where I worked at the shangri la and about 10 minutes walk to the main square"

"A very nice option to stay in Ulanbataar and probably one of the best 3-star hotels I ever stayed in. Clean, very nice rooms, nice gym. Breakfasts were very repetitive, but good for a 3-star hotel. The only problem with this hotel (and not really the hotel's fault) is its location. Due to the very heavy traffic in the city it takes a long time to reach the center of the city and there's not much to do in the vicinity of the hotel. "
