The hotel itself has a restaurant and it was quite good and quite a good portion. The staff are wonderful and the owner speaks English! "Room very small, JPY 22,400 for 2 with b.f is very overpriced. Without a car you are stuck, b.f only served until 8:00 AM. Dinner only available upon reservation until 7:00 PM and costs JPY 4,000 per person which makes your stay very expensive, if you have no rental car to go out and you have to order meals at the hotel. Pool is small but nice but beach is full of litter and as a pebble beach not very attractive for a swim. If you want to have it very quiet, it's great as there is nothing around...

"I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night. "First os all, we would like to apologize for such a delay in rating the Sukabura Inn, especially since we had a wonderful experience. The owner, Hiro, was attentive, helpful and cooked a superb breakfast (Japanese and Western!). We had good bikes to ride around the island, and the inn was at a very quiet part of the already peacful island, so we could hang out at the porch just listening to the wind and birds.
