"The rooms are modern/ clean/ up to date, with lovely balconies (with screens so can sleep with door open, and laundry hanging option too if needed). Kitchenette ( dishes& stove) in room is awesome. Real shower heads with glass doors! Beds are firm, but that seems to be the norm in Greece for moderate priced rooms. Hosts are very friendly and helpful ( offered me a drink and whichever room I wanted ). Room to park the car inside a gate and close to the beach and shops. One area could be improved—...

"Wonderful stay. There are more locals then tourists in the area which made the stay feel less busy and more tranquil which is what we wanted. Aristofanis was very helpful with transport as the property is rural and we didn’t have our own vehicle. If you want to explore, hiring transport is definitely required. "Kalypso Studios is well run; the staff are very friendly and helpful and booked our transfer to the airport and booked a tour for us. Air conditioning worked well and room was clean, property has pool with bar and place for some food. Kavos, apparently place for young British teens and Kalypso is off the beaten path yet close to shops, clubs and what Kavos has to offer. "

Very nice pool area. 15 min walk to Gaios, where you can catch the boat to Antipaxos and find plenty of restaurants, shops… Rooms are small and tired and feel more like 3 stars, they could certainly do with a renovation but, in a setting like this, you don’t want to spend too much time in the room anyway! "Great location but hotel needs work. Stayed 3 nights, pool was green the whole time. On our departure it was cleaned whilst there were young children swimming in it everyday. We saw a lizard in our bathroom and a piece of marble was glued under the toilet bowl, glue had gone yellow spread all over the floor so it looked like someone had leaked on the floor. Air con did not work properly either and breakfast was average. I would not recommend this place."
