"This property was in near immaculate condition, with plenty of friendly staff. Courteous. Attentive. Smelled and looked very clean in the lobby and common areas, including corridors and in the rooms. As a regular traveler, I was very impressed by all of this. Whomever is managing this property is clearly doing a fabulous job and paying attention to detail, as are the staff members!"

"It was great to find a hotel close to Asheville that had water and power. They have a restaurant on site with a great bartender. Food was delicious. The area is still torn up with a bunch of downed trees, but the main building was clean and quiet. Check in was a bit of a hassle but the staff there was quick to help. Will certainly stay there again as I am working the hurricane damages and will be back. "

"When people were at the desk they were helpful and friendly. They just were away from the desk a lot. I swam in the pool at night and it was very poorly lighted."

"Far from highway and businesses - no truck sounds. Relatively spartan but has everything I needed including one of the best laundry room for a hotel. Nice to sit out on the porch or the outdoor seating."

"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. The notebook they referred to was buried in a basket that I had to dig...
