"Cottage was comfy, spacious, appealing, clean and convenient. Issues with entering unit due to conflicts between property details at VRBO website and host’s direct instructions, and due to unclear instructions regarding digital door lock. Shower has issue with hot water discontinuing intermittently. Was not addressed. Finally, Roku streaming device was missing from TV, so we were without TV. Sent many messages to host explaining that Roku streaming stick was not attached to TV before host agreed...

"This is a great little spot and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place on Lake Lure. It’s convenient and well taken care of in a good location on the lake and having the dock to relax on and the kayaks to take out made for a really great vacation.
