"With a warm welcome as impressive as the grand facade of The Falcon Hotel, we felt we had made the right choice as soon as we arrived. We had a large light double aspect family room at the front. All was clean, comfortable and appeared recently refurbished. We attended a family birthday party there too which was well-catered for. "

"A peaceful stay over a number of days at this property. The restaurant was great with delicious food. I would have liked to see a change in menu over the days so opportunity for more variety. The mattress could do with replacing. Room was warm."

Staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Was very tasty and well cooked and the service was prompt and delivered with a smile. " The cottages housing the rooms are small but well designed. They are near the road but this is very quiet at night. The golf course looked in very good condition and though we didn't play it on this occasion, we will play next time we visit."

"Excellent service. We were given a room downstairs as I requested to suit my husband’s mobility issue. The room is spacious and clean. The shower floor is non-slip and we felt safe. There is an ironing board and you can request an iron if you need it. The car park is bonus. The WiFi connection was good. The restaurant was nice and spacious. The food portion is not too much otherwise it would go to waste. The choices of menu in the evening is excellent. There are vegetarian and vegan menus available if you don’t want to eat meat most of the time. The staff are polite and friendly. They are well organised especially at breakfast. We are given menu to choose and tick what you want to drink and eat for breakfast the night before. You just leave it by the reception area once completed. There’s also a spa. It’s near the town centre of Bodmin about 0.3 miles. "
