Tamsin's Cottage is a light and spacious barn conversion well equipped with all modern conveniences. There are spectacular views of the countryside and valley extending into the distance. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing getaway with only the sounds of the birds for company, then look no further.
Upon entering the cottage, there is a large kitchen/living/dining area with vaulted ceilings, which has been newly upgraded with new rugs and sofas for the 2024 season . The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven and hob, dishwasher, SMEG fridge freezer and a washing machine/tumble drier, not to mention the Lavazza espresso machine! There are two bedrooms, both offer en-suite facilities and the master bedroom boasts a four-poster king bed, (new EMMA Next-Generation mattress for 2024). The second bedroom has been upgraded with new beds, mattresses, headboards and curtains for the 2024 season and the beds can be made up as a twin or a double - just let us know your preference.
Outside you will find a large private patio, perfect for that morning cup of coffee watching a wide variety of birds enjoying the bird feeder, or for an al-fresco barbeque (new gas BBQ for Summer 2024). There is also a 4-person heated hot-tub, which is fantastic for relieving the aches and pains of a days walking Cornwall's Coastal paths, or relaxing under the stars. We are located in a dark sky area, so the night sky can be very special indeed. If you have brought along your four-legged friend, the garden is walled, gated and secure. There is a public bridleway just in front of the cottage ideal for an early morning or evening dog walk. We have also recently created a dedicated car parking area for the cottage, just outside the garden gate, making for easy access.
Solar panels and a ground-source heat pump provide central heating and hot water (backed up be electricity from renewable sources). We try to use eco-friendly products where possible.
Dogs are welcome. There is a £15 per dog charge.
