I loved the quiet and stayed in one of the original beach villas with easy and only steps away from the beach, which I took full advantage of daily. Staff were super friendly and helpful when asked. Upon check in, I was asked for payment when I had already paid online via Expedia, staff member asked for a receipt as proof of this, would have thought this should had been updated on their system already. "A very classy place, lovingly built by Paul and Joan, who live on the floor above the studio. Even better than the photos - very Conde Nast Traveller exclusive retreat. A large estate, 1.7miles up a very pretty, good side road. 40 minutes slow drive to Apia but the journey is so delightful that’s no problem. Car necessary. Lovely view.
