"My second time staying here, it's excellent value and right where I needed to be. No amenities at the hotel but next door is a fish and chip shop, a short walk away is a petrol forecourt shop with fast food franchise, cash point. A little further are three pubs, a restaurant and supermarkets, Chinese takeaway etc. If you seek luxury this isn't the hotel for you, but for the budget conscious traveler it's perfect!"

"The room was just as shown on the photos. I had seen some negative reviews so had some apprehension, but there were no problems on our visit. Comfortable beds, hot water, good heating, reasonable carpet; 24/7 Asda shop and other facilities at the service station. No fridge or cooking facilities, but I took a microwave and had no problems. Overall the property seems to have some maintenance issues with various buckets strategically placed to catch drips in the foyer and one corridor: but...
