"Stayed for two nights at North Mountain View Suites, and it was easily the best stay we’ve had in our 14 day trip to Iceland! The rooms were beautifully furnished and extremely spacious, and there was plenty of space to park outside our cabin! "Overall it was a good, cheap stay for a night. It's not very far from all the restaurants and bars, but it is also at the top of a fairly large hill. The facilities were nice enough. Though the tv in my room was flickering. I'd recommend if you just need a place to stay for a night or two. "

"On the hillside across the fjord from the airport and town, it was in the middle of having an extension when we were there (boy, Icelandic builders are hardy) so was a little out of sorts. That said, it is kept in immaculate order, and I’m sure the extension will be great. Currently it’s just 8 rooms, and won’t be so much bigger next year, but will have an internal lift so you don’t have to go outside to get to the lower rooms. There isn’t a restaurant, but the breakfast buffet is a good start...

"Great location, spacious, easy parking, easy checkin and check out with key box and instructions. Husband is a bit noise sensitive and you can hear neighbors/outside noise but this is city living. I like dark rooms when sleeping and the apartment didn’t have black out curtains. Otherwise the apartment had everything if you were going to cook and it could easily fit more than 2 people."

"Great place for the value and location. We only stayed for one night. The bedroom was a nice size for two. They have a bunk bed in the main living area if you were travelling with more people. The bathroom was a little cramped."

"Hotel is located of the main town area. Not much around, but good place to stay overnight after the long trip. Easy to find, check-in - easy - just enter the supplied by email code into electronic lock :). Room is minimalistic and a bit crampy, but beds were comfortable. There are only several rooms with private entrance and bathrooms (we had one of them). Otherwise not much to say. Good value for the money."
