"I recently stayed at Palmers, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. My college who I was travelling with managed to book the following day but the staff quickly got a room ready. The check-in process was seamless, and I was warmly welcomed by a member of staff. "We booked this hotel but were called on the day or arrival to say they could not accommodate us because the hotel is now being used for homeless people. "

"Would have given it 5 stars if we'd have been able to have a go at the footgolf. The price seemed good just wasnt sure on the condition of the playing area so we didnt risk it. The place was so tranquil. We'd potentially go again maybe in summer though although it was plenty warm enough even in the coldest days of winter "

"The location is out in the fens and quite remote making it extremely peaceful. The only diabetics to my stay was the temperature of the room which barely got above 16 degrees despite the electric radiator being on. "

"Stayed here for 3 nights do a conference locally and it was perfect. Friday enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant. Staff went above and beyond. Very approachable if I had any questions. Looking forward to coming back next year! "

"Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure "

"This was a work trip , the caravan was clean and the facilities were ample for my needs , do take your own towels , but bedding was clean and the bed very comfortable , the caravan stayed warm I didn’t use any of the club facilities so can’t comment. Overall it was great for what I needed "
