"All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, general ambience was of a fresh, clean and modern nature. My only gripe was the mattress was quite hard, and therefore uncomfortable when sleeping, but my old bones didn't help 😔. My view couldn't be helped, but it was miserable, not the fault of the hotel."

"Overnight stay on Christmas Day. Very pleased with rooms although my wife and I would prefer a king size bed. Decent breakfast for the price. Coped well with my sister's need for gluten free.Staff friendly and helpful."

"Staff were friendly. Building was nice, but the room was not that comfortable. No fridge and the safe was broken. The worst thing was that the bed was a 6ft mattress but we only had a 5ft duvet, which didn’t cover two people in the bed. This meant we had a poor night’s sleep. "

"Lovely big room, very comfy bed and gorgeous quality bed linen. A friendly, welcoming hotel where everyone is hard working. Our dog Jessica was made very welcome too. My only feedback is that I am a very light sleeper and somewhere in the hotel there was a door banging which I think can be easily solved by tightening up the damper. "
