I asked reception to have a polite word which they did. My only other negative was the bed; the mattress was so hard it was a killer. The hotel did put a duvet directly onto the mattress but I think having the option to have a topper would have been better, especially given the luxury sell of the...

"A wonderful place to stay."

"This is a very old pub so to be expected that floors are somewhat uneven, took a bit of time to get used to this. Room was at front of building,had a large, comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Sadly our stay was spoilt by other guests on Saturday night making lots of noise till the early hours. Breakfast was excellent with good choices, particularly catering for gluten free diet. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. "

There was some noise from passing traffic, but this was not overly distracting. Would definitely stay here again."
