"Excellent location in the centre of the city. Close the Casbah and the seafront. Great options for dining. Included breakfast was very handy. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I will never forget the fantastic view from the room. "

"The staff of Hotel Suisse were fantastic and very accommodating. They gave me a room in the top 6th floor, which had 3 beds in 3 rooms with a spacious bathroom. Each bedroom had its own split air conditioner (climatiseur). The location is right near the Agha train station, with easy access to the airport, and is near many metro connections. Also, the location is within walking distance of many restaurants, eateries, and shopping places. The value for this hotel was unbeatable. Also, the staff were able to provide good restaurant suggestions, especially for authentic Algerian cuisine. If one has trouble with stairs, I’d suggest one reserve a lower floor, as the elevator only goes to the 5th floor. The hotel itself is also accessible by many flights of stairs from the main roads. The staff can speak some English, but French or Arabic will go a lot farther! I would recommend this hotel to anyone in Algiers for the first time, or looking for a respite in the heart of the old city."
