"This was my 3rd stay at the Thayers Inn in as many years. The staff is always super friendly and courteous. The hotel is well maintained considering it the age of the building. If you are staying here, you need to be willing to accept that there will be no elevator, rooms may not be state of the art, bathrooms are outdated but that's all part of the charm! "

"If you're looking for a complete change of scenery from a dense city to a calm Forest but still maintain comforts of your home, you have come to the right place. We had an amazing time at the majestic place - in it's truest sense. Cons- it needed deep cleaning as the were bugs and wasps in sun room and balconies, and dust inside the house on floor and some furniture. Quite some confusion on Cleaning fee...
