"It's located not far from some beautiful buildings with architectural detail and design. We like to walk, so walking through some lovely neighborhoods to get to the Cathedral of Learning was very pleasant. We were surprised at the number of buildings of worship along the way. Most date back to the early 20th century, and we were fortunate to be able to walk into St. Paul Cathedral shortly before a Mass was to begin. For Christmas is was tasteful as well as ornate. "We have stayed at the Homewood Suites Southpointe many times. It's in a safe snd convenient location. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of variety and is always good. We especially like the pool and hot tub. However the chairs and chaise lounges are all ripped and need to be replaced. The patio area is inviting with a firepit, sitting area, and basketball court. We have had several family gatherings in the spacious meeting...
