"We had cause to book a hotel quickly for one night in Hull and came across this gem. It's an old school/college building which has been converted into a hotel. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bar provided good food at drink at very reasonable prices. We would definitely return."

"When we booked tge book in time was not vidable to us and we were suprised it was 4pm as this felt a little late. Paul was loveley and made us feel very welcome. The room was large but felt a little dated but for the price was more than acceptable. We stayed 1 night in the family room and my girls enjoyed the stay. I went for Breakfast which was self serve and a basic continental but you also have the facilities to make your own should you desire. Lots of contractors and Builders use this hotel...

"Fantastic overnight stay in the Bollinger room - with the most comfortable bed imaginable. We ate in the pub in the evening and got talking to the owner about Huddersfield pigeons and their (lack of) merits. Food brilliant - we chose a chicken and a lamb dish. Beautiful. Mediterranean cheesecake - pesto jus with olives and roasted tomatoesit it was not. Turns out it was Dark Fruit Berries !!! Super flavour. And sticky toffee pudding to die for ! Lovely breakfast in the morning. Plenty...

"On check-in there was a very rude woman trying to attract the attention of the receptionist to complain about so called 'bed bug' which probably didn't exsist because she said they were in the room not on the bed. The receptionist was calm and continued to deal with us, actions that the rude woman accused of being ignored. We had no such experience. "The staff is friendly and helpful. The property and the room is neat and tidy. The communal kitchen is well maintained. However, at the entrance of the carpark, there is bad smell like wee-wee. There might be leakage of the sewage pipes."
