"Lovely apartment but needed a thorough clean. Walking bearfooted floors felt gritty and a little sticky. Wooden cabinets in kitchen and living area full of greasy fingerprints. Duvet had about a two inch bloody looking stain on it, brought it to their attention, it was returned later in the day in same condition. Sorry to complain but it really spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay. Nice staff."

"We have stayed here for two consecutive years. It’s a good-sized property, well-maintained, and generally clean but there were dog hairs on one of the sofas and it definitely smells more like dog I. 2024 (on the ground floor only - the upstairs is immaculate) than it did in 2023. I would suggest the property is either deep-cleaned and better aired/odor neutralized after every stay OR only advertised to dog owners. "We have had a great October break. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Ideal location to walk the coast into Brid and back (land train optional). Short distance to Filey. Scarborough - where our children enjoyed Peasholm Park feeding the squirrels. Hosts also provided Sewerby Hall entrance tickets. A great week had by all. 😊 xx"

"The property was ok , the area is a short drive from filey. The walk to the beach is not so easily accessible for everyone as it down a steep hill. The onsite facilities are expensive even for a captive demograph. "
