"I had a sudden change in travel plans and needed to book a hotel room during a layover in Bogota. I did so, but I messed up that booking and had to look again at the airport in Popayan after I landed late in the morning. Thanks to the very helpful staff at Hotel Boutique Confort Suites, I was in a perfect room by 1PM. "Really fantastic hotel at a very reasonable place. Location is fantastic- 1/2 block from the main plaza (Parque Caldas) in an old colonial building. My room (#218) had big windows opening to a small balcony overlooking the street. If you don't like noise, you probably wouldn't want that. But I don't mind so the balcony was an amazing place to watch the world go by. The restaurant is also top notch. Service was fantastic without being overbearing.
