Sounkyo Kanko Hotel

3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (274)
"Our family stayed over for a night at the hotel to visit Daisetsuzan. Hotel is very close to the cable car in small town of Sounkyo. We were there at off-season so it was quiet. Hotel Taisetsu ONSEN&CANYON RESORT

3.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (79)
"Japanese standard room was very spacious, although a bit worn around the edges. The rooftop outdoor onsen had a spectacular view of the snowy mountains at sunset. The food offered in the standard half board option was ok, not great, very cafeteria like. If you're passing thru the area, it's a good option bc of the onsen, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again."
