"There are 3 non-camping places to stay in Sossusvlei, Desert Camp, Desert Quiver and the Sossusvlei Lodge. They are all owned by the same company. All meals are taken at the Sossusvlei Lodge 2-3 kms down the road. There is no internet at Desert Quiver. There is a nice swimming pool but one needs to drive to it. The rooms are very nice, however. "Namib Desert Lodge was such a lovely place to stay. The rooms and lodge were comfortable and well-kept; the food in the restaurant was great; the service was wonderful. They offered great excursions for guests who were interested in this. "

"Had an amazing 2 night stay here, the location is incredible, set against the mountains with an endless view across the desert. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, rooms are great with good AC, especially liked the terrace off the room where you can watch the sunset, sunsets here are incredible. The breakfast and dinner was ok, not amazing, but the location and staff made up for the food quality. "
