We only planned to stay one or two nights but couldn’t bring ourselves to leave and ended up staying 4 nights. "

"I recently stayed at a lovely Inn nestled under the hills and was thoroughly impressed. The hospitality was outstanding, and the accommodation was spotless. What sets this place apart is the affordability of both drinks and food – a refreshing change from other recent stays. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of a dram of whisky in a glass canister in the room. The owner's warm welcome made us feel right at home. As a pet-friendly establishment, it was the perfect choice for our dog. Given that we frequently drive through this area on our travels from Caithness, we'll undoubtedly be back and will happily recommend this gem to friends. The blend of simple yet charming accommodation at an affordable price is a testament to good old-fashioned hospitality. "
