The room was freezing. No one quite often not on reception. No hairdryer in the room. We're not able to check out. No invoice received and I wanted to pay the account on a different card which was impossible. We liked Melrose but it was a shame our first choice was full.

would definitely stay here again
Would describe the place as "quaint", a bit run down (condition of bathrooms, floors) but also well cared for and clean (bedding/towels). Im certain all rooms differ, but we happened to have a lovely view out the window. Centrally located in Merose, friendly and accomodating staff. Included breakfast had a variety of options. Slept comfortably, would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and obliging and the food was very nice. However, both my bedroom and bathroom were small and overpriced in comparison to other b&b’s that I have stayed in.
