"The unit we had was on the 3rd floor but since the elevator was temporarily out of service, Andre, the manager carried our bags up for us. He was most accommodating. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and there is free parking at the Convento Sao Francisco is a short 5 min walk away and it is open from 7am to Midnight so we parked our car there and either walked or took cabs to any place we wanted. I would highly recommend JR Suites."

Location: Central right by the bridge with shops and sights literally around the corner. Back to the food… I had one of the BEST shrimp dishes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m embarrassed to say it was so good I literally order two of them. Don’t let the concept of the hotel deter you. I had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "
