"It's a very nice property and welcoming staff. The excursions to the Blue Lagoon cave and nearby snorkeling spots are fantastic. The only drawbacks are the property itself is on a beach with a rather murky reef with low visibility and the lighting inside the villas is poor. If you open the shades it gets too hot in the room and the electric lights in the room aren't strong enough. A skylight in each villa would make a big difference."

"The most perfect stay. The staff really do make the resort what it is and made us feel so welcome from the first minute until the last. Perfect location for snorkelling and kayaking. The view from the treetop bure was breathtaking although certain aspects of the room were a little tired and needed updating but this didn’t affect the trip at all. Would happily return to Nanuya."

"When you book they will tell you that this is not a resort but it is really good. Did not understand why they wrote that to me. You have a huge house just for yourself with amazing garden or beach view. "Overall, I would give them 4.5 stars (but Hotels.com forces integers!). The only thing to keep in mind when visiting Nabua Lodge is that they find it a bit hard to keep track of allergen information - my wife has a gluten allergy and we had to keep reminding them of this. "We loved absolutely everything about Oarsman's Bay Lodge-the beach, accommodation, surroundings, activities, food and especially the staff. We went to 2 other islands afterwards, and realised how spoilt we'd been at OBL. It was everything we'd dreamed of, and a lot more. Thank you to ALL the staff, who were like family.
