"My cousin and I stayed here for just one night at the end of our stay on Lake Atitlán. Our room (one of the teepees) was great and had everything we needed. The communal bathrooms were often out of toilet paper and paper towels. The restaurant/bar was expensive but the food was good. The bottom of the pool was covered in algae and no one was swimming while we were there. But the location is great for exploring Pana. Overall we would recommend but feel like the price is high for what you get. "

"Pleasant stay, they allowed me to check in early which was wonderful after a long flight and shuttle from Antigua. I was unaware there was a wedding going on while I was there so it was quite loud until early in the morning but I understand that. Overall I enjoyed my stay and thought the town was super cute. "The staff at Hotel San Buenaventura was so lovely and kind. They helped us arrange a TukTuk into town and pointed us toward the Nature center close by. We loved the views from the pool and lake. They did not have an evening restaurant or bar and so we went down the street. Loved our stay."
