"I stayed one night at the hotel in Padua, looking back, I think I should have booked two or three, so that I could get a better experience of the Veneto. Parts of the hotel seemed like an escape room, because my bedroom was located towards the rear. I was told that I had to take two elevators to get to my room, as it was in the back of the hotel. Part of it was under refurbishment, so I had to take one elevator up, and go to the other side of the hotel (4 minutes walk through two hallways)...

"The room was comfortable, all facilities brand new. The hotel is located in the historic palazzo , the ceilings are very tall! Good options for breakfast. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are coming to explore Vicenza! "

"The Donatello hotel is in a beautiful spot opposite the Basilica, the staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast has a nice variety of foods/drinks, and the room has a classic modern feel. Bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and roomy."
