"Our two night stay was nice. The staff was polite and a couple of them spoke English which was helpful. Our room was more than enough space for our family of five. The grounds were charming and close enough to everything. A quick drive into town, a walk would have been a bit far for the kids. "

"Price was right. Off season. Very small room with two twin beds. Sufficient to sleep in. Not sufficient for sitting in. Nice lobby with shared space with Mercure hotel. Amy was super helpful. We walked right next door to great restaurant. Le Bustrodome was recommended. Excellent food and service. Underground free parking too. Great find. "

"Location was great for exploring Caen. The staff is young, energetic and friendly. Very positive hostel experience. Young people and family friendly place. Nice to have options for breakfast, dinner or just a cocktail/ wine at The People. I will for sure check out other locations of The People and my kids will too. "

"The room was immaculate and the staff was extraordinary. Great breakfast and location was close to the tapestry museum and cathedral. The concierge recommended several restaurants for dinner and they were super. Would definitely stay there again"

"Good stay . Damp smell in corridor. However didn’t effect the stay. Noisy air con (heating unit) not much choice for breakfast wouldn’t bother next time. However overall good stay. "
