"We had a nice family cabin that backs onto a beach which was wonderful for sunsets. Small kitchenette which allowed us to cook some meals. No centralized heating but did have heaters for the rooms. "

The kitchen would benefit from a dish rack & tray as the bench got covered in water after doing dishes. Staff were very friendly & helpful & I thought the cleaning lady was a real sweetie. "Woodland Glen is a good hotel in great quiet setting. The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and the owners were friendly and welcoming. A number of restaurants were within a few minutes drive. Definitely worth seeing the Glow worm Dell at night after dinner. The breakfast provided was of a high standard and delicious. We would be happy to stay here again."

"This is a pleasant summertime property relatively close to city center, with on-site car parking. Large living room on one end of building features TV, Wifi, games / books / toys for kids, and a wood stove. Kitchen was very functional and property clean. I would not recommend this property for winter occupancy, however. None of the bedrooms featured heat sources and the inside of the house on arrival felt colder than the outside.
