Tui Base Camp

3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (36)
"Dining at the restaurant was a real treat and surperb. Food was fantastic and satisfied both adults and growing teenage boy. Massive meals, highly recommend the sausage platter and share for two. Yet get to try 4 different flavours with the best chips ever. When you see locals coming in and ordering take home meals - you know its good."

"The lodge is located in a very remote location, despite of getting groceries are so inconvenient, Blake showed great generosity and hospitality to all the guests, make us feel like staying in an old friend's house. Kitchen, bathroom, and bed linen are of 5-stars clean. If you're planning to go on the Hump Ridge Track, choose Rarakau Lodge for your pre-departure accommodation is definitely the best option. "

Learn more about Ruahine

Plan your trip to Ruahine and take advantage of the sights and activities in the area.

Tiny little bay on the South Island, there are a few summer batches right on the water, the road is so narrow you can't get by if a neighbors window is open :)

Follow the signs on the Southern Scenic Route when you get to the Barn, cross the cattle guard and take a left. This place is adorable.
