"Alot better than last time I stayed allot had improved staff are amazing very attentive take good care of there guests buffet needs to offer bit more choice than just fish or chicken but was still lovely bedroom nicely decorated bar man was fantastic overall stay was amazing glad I have it second shot will defo stay here again"

"Good, basic accommodation in a convenient location on the waterfront - fine for an overnight stop or for contractors working in the area. Each former student flat has a kitchen and the rooms are en suite."

"The staff were really friendly and helpful, we arrived early and were allowed to drop our suitcase at reception whilst we went into town. We were also allowed to do an early check in which was really great. The bed was super comfortable, I did have to ask for extra pillows and toilet roll but this was provided promptly. "What a great place to stay. I have stayed in every hotel in Callander and this is far the best . Terrific food, reasonable priced drinks and a warm welcome. Close to a variety of bars and shops within walking distance."

"We were going to a wedding nearby,we contacted the hotel to see if we could check in early so we could get ready as we traveled a distance, the staff could not be more helpful,they had the rooms ready for us perfect, lovely staff and a lovely hotel.will definitely visit again."

"Amazing stay in one of the 3 bedroom lodges. Well equipped and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Robes and slippers for all guests. Hot tub area was immaculate and very well maintained. Dinner, cocktails, coffee and cake from Palamino’s were all excellent. A wonderful stay and very good value for money. "

"The hotel could do with being refurbished but it is a 3 star hotel and for the price is acceptable, rooms could do with being cleaned a bit better but cant fault the staff and we actually enjoyed our stay will definitely return for another stay "

Great for getting the ferry. The hotel is old and needs a lot of money to spend on it but the owners are trying. We would stay again as it’s affordable and very friendly. "

"This was an overnight stop from the Isle of Skye to the ferry at Cairnryan. No doubt the hotel is somewhat dated but what it made up for it with its great staff and lovely food (great pizzas for dinner and the full Scotch breakfast was perfect). Very dog friendly and has a few charging points for EV's. Nothing much else to do in Crainlarich unless you are going hiking. Would ahve no hesitation staying here again."
