"The mattress was comfortable enough but not when it overhangs the divan base by a huge amount such that you could fall off. The staff refused to acknowledge our complaint, dismissing it as normal to put a large double mattress over smaller twin bases. They even implied we had created the problem by moving the bases together ourselves. Terrible customer service! Generally the decor was tired and the room too small despite the Privilege category. "

"Hotel Saint George is the perfect base to enjoy Canet Plage, and it’s many restaurants and bars. The hotel is run by a lovely family who were incredibly welcoming and helpful. There are 2 breakfast options both are great value. We opted for the express option which consisted of two fresh breads, pastries and jam with refillable hot drinks and juice as this suited us best. "Was clean and staff were helpful "

"First impressions on arrival of the outside weren’t good. The hotel was not what we were expecting for the price. A clearer description of location would have been helpful. It’s in a built up business area. However after entering the reception area, we could see the courtyard which was well kept. Also luckily the restaurant is very good. Simple, well cooked French food, at a reasonable price. The room was small (as stated in description,) and basic, bathroom could do with an update. "
