"The hotel is faded (think 1980s) but clean. The manager told me that the redecoration is is in process.The staff were lovely, as was the swimming pool and steam room. The weather was dreadful so we couldn't explore the grounds but if the price is right, we will probably go back, so may have another opportunity!"

"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. It was also a nicely quiet room with an excellent level...
