I am sorry to say if there is one thing we don't like is the fact that the rooms are dog friendly, and we are not dog lovers. I don't know if all rooms are dog friendly but if they are it might be a problem for future stays as my wife can break out in a rash."

The premises are within easy reach of main roads to nearby Exeter and the coast, as well as lovely local pubs including Traveller’s Rest and Kings Arms for evening meals. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. "

We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. "
