"Beautiful building with a gorgeous flowering almond tree on the front terrace. The sound of the Tech river from my balcony is magic. Excellent bed and linens. The breakfast is good (11 Euros) but the tea and coffee are awful due to the chlorinated water. "Ambient music" in the reception area, bar and dining room is annoying noise. Very friendly service."

"Over priced. Unfriendly staff (male cocasian with glasses) tried to overcharge for our 4 yr daughter. Facility showed in the website (eg indoor pool) costs 15 euro per person. Dinner courses comes with desserts bought in a supermarket (eg ice cream). Room is tiny and lacks facility such as a chair or sofa. Not worth the price. "

"We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). "The location is in a small village in the mountains and driving in and out is not easy. The property itself is a bit dated but is very charming. The staff and service were excellent. Note that the price does not include breakfast. We stayed on the third floor and internet was unavailable le in the room - we had to go down to the lobby for internet connection. "El hotel es agradable en general pero tiene cosas para mejorar. El entorno maravilloso en plena naturaleza. Limpieza buena y todo muy ordenado. Los "peros" de la estancia son la incomodidad de la cama, el desayuno poco organizado, ya que hay una persona atendiendo y sirviendo. La solución más práctica sería tenerlo preparado y expuesto para los clientes y que se sirvan al gusto. "Lower your expectations and you won't be disappointed. Shabby property hasn't been cared for in years. Clean enough for this solo male but some plugs didn't work and new sheets were like gauze with no mattress cover. See through curtains."
