"Our room in the Hunfeld was comfortable and nicely equipped. Plenty of room to unpack and store our clothes. The bed was very comfortable as well. We liked the room layout with the separate toilet area and sink and shower in the room. The shower was generously sized for a European bathroom. The location is excellent for sightseeing, shopping and dining. Everything is easily walkable from the hotel and the walk to the train station was also easy even with suitcases. "

"Wonderful hotel. It is supported by students at a local hospitality college but honestly we would not have noticed. The rooms were clean and large, and the building is historic; even the key was a real key. The breakfast was quite good. Everyone was so nice. Minor complaints: the towels could be better as could the toilet paper! The hotel is also not readily accessible by public transportation. However, if you have a car, it is terrific."

However there seemed to be a great deal of confusion when it came to how much to actually charge me for tourist tax, parking, and service fees…which was a little annoying. "Great hotel for an extended stay in the Netherlands, especially if you'd like to experience things outside of Amsterdam. The hotel is very conveniently located - it's within walking distance of quick food options, the train station, and grocery store options. I stayed for 8 nights and had great interactions with staff, and would overall recommend it to others for future stays, especially at the current price point! "Amazing stay at Mooi Veluwe, the hotel is undergoing a fairly major renovation. All rooms are being updated, new carpets throughout, new beds and bedroom furniture. Made the stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant has been updated with new carpets and furniture too."
