"This is the second time we have stayed at the marine hotel and yet again we couldn’t complain. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is also very nice and there is plenty to choice from, also the hotel is just across the road from the beach and all the bars and restaurants are all close by. It is safe to say we will be staying yet again and a bonus is that the car parking is free and there’s plenty of spaces. "

"Our one night stay at 61 Durham was very nice. The hotel is located about 10 minutes drive from Durham city centre in very nice grounds on the edge of Pittington Village. Parking was free and only a few steps from the main entrance. We were allocated room 218 on the second floor, an attic room with a sloping ceiling overlooking the lawned rear garden. The room was clean and comfortable with a small but nice bathroom and a decent shower with really good water pressure. Our bed was soft and...
