Food was a little dry but okay. Had the buffet breakfast which was good value Would recommend if passing through and need a place for one night We stayed in the basic room- double bed but not en suite"

"This is hotel is top notch in the area of Uluru! The hotel was clean but you could tell some areas like the bar were run down. The service at the bar and dining seemed disorganized at times and would be better equipped with electonic apparatus when ordering. The shuttle back and forth to airport was timely and efficient. I guess our unit hadn't been used for a while as there was air the water pipes to the sink and brown water came out initially. It was okay after running it a while and it stayed clean thereafter. "THE " Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge " was just such a refreshing place to stay at minimal cost. The staff at reception "LESLIE AND PAGE were so helpful and refreshingly honest in their attitude towards customers and their respective jobs. The cleaning and room preparation was excellent and the cleaning staff were most obliging in providing extra service if there was a requirement.. such as sugar, tea, milk, blankets etc. Kudos to the groundsmen for their efforts to keep all clean and tidy."
