"This was our second stay at the hotel. As expected, it was very comfortable. The staff are friendly. We didn't face any issue. Location is great. Close to public transport. Iso Christina Mall is at walkable distance. Very close to Lake Saima."

"This hotel is beautiful - from outside. It needs some serious renovation. The bathrooms are very outdated and super small. I had to request a change of rooma because of a moldy bathroom. The smell gave me an instant headache. This can’t be healthy! All the rooms I have experienced unfortunately have that old room smell. Please restore this beautiful historically valuable building!"

"Unwelcoming staff, who did not direct us to our hidden room. Staff don't want to speak English even though they work in a hotel. Only 2/6 saunas were open. No saunas were available where I could share with my partner. No adult only area. Do not go if you are looking for a relaxing break with your partner like we were. Decent breakfast. "

"Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. Parking hall for the car, good restaurant near.Good service!"

"Conveniently located, pleasant and helpful reception staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Bedrooms don't seem to be made up nowadays, coffees etc not replenished so overall a high price for little more than an AirBNB."

"This is a place you get a bed to sleep and breakfast, but don't expect anything great. Everything is very basic and the hotel needs a face uplift. At least during this stay it was totally over-priced (about 200 euro)."

"Huone piti saada käyttöön 15.00, mutta huone oli valmis vasta 16.00. "Vastaanotto" ei ollut avoinna, vaan jouduimme soitella huoneemme perään. Vierailumme aikana oli kova helle, +30 astetta, jolloin huoneessa oli tukala olla ja lähes mahdotonta nukkua. Huone oli siisti ja viihtyisä."

"Savonlinna Rentals is modern and spotlessly tidy throughout. It’s very close to the Savonlinna train station. It has fast WIFI and a good number of bathrooms (shared). Lastly it is relatively inexpensive. I would definitely stay again."

"This is not by any stretch of the imagination a hotel. It would be generous to describe it as a tired student hall of residence or a cheap backpaper's hostel that has seen better days. The room is stark and very poorly equipped. Advertised for 'self catering' there were no amenities whatsover provided - no crockery or cutlery, no cooking utensils, not even a mug. There was no hair dryer. But worse than the spartan accommodation, the 'curtains' were little more than thin sheets and not all the...
