"The hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The a/c was not cool enough for August. The desk clerk arranged a taxi for us to dinner and the taxi returned exactly on time. "I didn't actually stay at Casa Leonori because they upgraded me to a room at Hotel Cenacolo, their `sister' hotel that is adjacent. (This was an upgrade from 3 to 4 stars.) "We stayed at Domus in connection with a conference. It's about 2km away from Assisi proper, a short bus ride or long walk to that amazing city. Domus offers more space at a reasonable price. There's a restaurant downstairs and a snack bar & gift shop in the spacious lobby, lots of tables and comfortable seating for groups."

"It’s a lovely little place centrally located, very quiet, great service. The rooms are clean and well maintained if a little on the dated side. Bathrooms are modern but very small: shower was miniscule (I could barely bend over to wash my feet without knocking the door open, and I only weigh 140 lbs). The breakfast is terrific and it’s really nice to be centrally located. A great value overall but I’d say the hotel rating should be 3 stars, not 4."
